Our first thunderstorm actually happened in February. It was an almost-thundersnow -- just above freezing, enough to make it sleet instead of snow, with a background of thunder and lightning. More than a little nutty.
Even with that, it seems odd to me that our first real risk of tornados this year happens to be today. March 19th. North of Kansas.
Heck, we've already had a few hailstones.
And it's dark enough to need the kind of lighting usually reserved for just at sunset.
March 19th. This is odd.
