Sleep can be sacrificed for almost any reason. It's even easier to justify if there's a potential for naptime (although that naptime may usually be a classtime).
If you don't like what you're doing, it is worth rethinking.
The best shows get cancelled early and become cult flicks.
It is possible to find someone who can find humor in a differential equation.
It's also possible (and practically necessary) to find people that don't fully understand the humor of a differential equation.
You can't predict how things will end, or for that matter what will happen in between now and then.
The things you never thought you'd remember can pop into your head while you're at a water fountain -- and then you find yourself estimating the fluid flowrate necessary to make it arc like that.
A free meal is almost always worth it.

Free laundry is one of life's biggest treats.
Milk crates can serve as almost any form of furniture.
People will let you down if you get to know them well enough. Those same people will do more for you than you'll ever imagine. Eventually, there will be disappointment, but that's not a reason to write someone off.
And finally, happiness can be found almost anywhere, as long as you're willing to look for it. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll find it where you expected to, but it'll show up if you give it the opportunity to do so.
