How does one react to free time?

Even though one doesn't really have anything useful to say.

It's been a strange week. We talked the Mad Russian out of having class last night ... That was pretty cool. Certainly didn't expect it to work. Add to that the other things you heard about yesterday and I'm just lost.

Tonight, it's out to Storm to do a little cooking, cleaning, and rent-paying. Or grocery-acquiring, as the case may be. Tomorrow, homework, probably. And Sunday. Then ... Well, then next week starts, and that will likely be even weirder than this week, what with the disappearing ChE department. Craziness.

For now, it's off to class to learn some economics and goof around with the Funky Monkey Originator. Yeah, you know who you are.

Oh, and for those of you reading, may I suggest you give me a topic or two? Mention it and I'll write about it (keep in mind, this is a family-friendly blog).

hmmmm....a topic to type about. if i had one i'd probably use it on mine, as mine has gotten pretty lame lately i think. oh well. how about.....how addicting facebook is, but you've already mentioned that once or so. hmm.....the speed at which income is sent thru the mail versus the speed bills and whatnot are sent. sorry not very much help. the last one came up 'cause i just finally got my refund check today (which i put in a form to get it like 7 weeks ago, which they lost so i had to fill out another one, and now it'll take like 3 days for the check to clear so i can actually use my money and i've been mooching off people for like over a week now). grrrr. sorry end vent. laters

So I've bragged plenty about the fabulous changes in my life in the last few months. I mean, I have a job that's just ... not very job-like. I live in my own little part of paradise. The food's great.   But there are the little perks, too. Biochemistry brings strange revelations. All right, so I'm not one for smooth transitions. It's been another week for reflection and whatnot, and that includes while I'm in class. Have you ever taken a look back at yourself and realized how completely and totally different you are now than you were X number of years ago? I guess I'm thinking specifically of my college-aged readers ... Take, for instance, you in high school versus you now. I know I've changed; I look roughly the same, but just about everything else is different, especially my thought processes. I am a Christian scientist.
